I haven't updated in what... three days?
Well, I have to admit it's partly my fault, partly some mysterious forces fault, partly my acquiring VERY cool stuff, partly RPing...
I dunno, it's just, I had a low spot when I felt as if things were just too much; my stupid broken arm, stupid writer's block, and I felt like hardly anyone seemed to care very much about this journal when I'd have to PUSH people to come read this - all accept Raiun lol... sorry to blow trumpets, but Raiun seems like a real big fan now ^^
Anywhoo; remember last journal log I got Dogtanian?
Well... I pawed about that store again... and managed to wangle some inside things from the clerk... who then managed to sell me the entire series box set for 15 bucks!!! ^^
A 610 minute long FRENZY of Dogtanian at my disposal... ::Sigh:: And I haven't even started watching it yet lol ^^; Need a find the moment XD
I feel like I have to save it for a special time or something mebbe :3 But my other 3 bucks DVD is going to a new home anyhow ^_^
MORE cool stuff... was when I discovered the comic WE3...
I was in the comic book store looking for single YuGiOh cards when I spotted a comic with a picture of a MISSING poster on the front of a dog... it looked really well done out; so I picked it up... and was really amazed
WE3 is to it's basics; a mini series about 3 animal bio weapons; units 1, 2 and 3; their real names only revealed in the posters on the front of each issue; were taken from their owners and experimented with, before they were hard wired into robotic exo skeletons to create unique and powerful replacements to military personnel for the battles of tomorrow
We start with a sample mission of the three, assassinating a would be dictator in a very slowly drawn out manner; when our would be dictator Guerrera blasts apart his door in terror; and looks for the result; only to give us a double page spread of him being torn apart by bullets; a picture reminiscent of Battle Angel Alita manga for it's gore and also a kind of beauty in it's macabre fashion
We're introduced to the 3: 1 who is a loyal labrador dog - formerly known as Bandit - with a suit that is very basically a miniature tank...
2 (My FAVE!) Formerly known as 'Tinkers' an orange tabby cat equipped with extreme stealth equipment, claws and knife firing weapons :3 She's the badass of the group...
3; a rabbit once called Pirate, whose pretty simple minded; one who unites the contrasting two and generally happens to be the one who gets the most emotional reaction in scenes that I WON'T reveal if you wanna read this...
The three are to be decommissioned; after being decided that giving these killing machines the ability to TALK was insanity... the prototypes to be destroyed to make way for the Animal Weapon 4...
When their creator steps in; and removes the restraint locks holding them in place; making for an intricate escape scene comprising of 6 pages split into EIGHTEEN panels per page; all shown from the perspectives of security cameras; that comes off SO well before a grand double page spread of the three leaping to freedom against a starry night sky...
But now, to find 'Home' - 'A place where they no longer have to run' they have to surpass the military, rat drone biorgs and even the almight Animal Weapon 4 - this comic doesn't look like it will have a happy end, it does go with a lot of gory violence; but it is VERY well made; and I'd heavily recommend it to the more mature audiences out there; I won't say more than that; if you wanna preview; take a peek here :3

With a lot of social commentary; particularly on animal experimentation; consider this not just my mini-comic of the year, but my COMIC of the year, even more so then any of my favorite manga; which is a BIG thing to say for me ^^
I'd really love to find more people who like this comic, just to maybe know I'm not the only one, maybe speak on it; rumors or gossip, etc ^^ Mebbe even if someone comments and thinks it looks cool X3
I dun think I can make an RP out of it, but I think I can still enjoy it X3
Well, beyond my sucky arm and all; I suppose that'll do all commentary for me today ^_^

I had nothing much to write today, SO... I thought I'd just review everything from yesterday again and repost it so you guys know I'm NOT dissing you; and I'm creating my first ever filler!! XD
