Recycled cute. XD I was looking through my old journal entries and picked out this one I wrote for Valentine's Day. ...::really needs to start on a new Christmas short story:: ^-^; Welp, Mienray and Qweevan for anybody who still reads my journal! Qweevan's POV.
Mienray came over to my house again. It was a very special day. It'd been a whole month since we'd met. And since I'd fallen in love with him. I'd bought a special gift for him for this special occasion. The plan was to give him the present right after dinner. Though, it didn't go that way at all.
We were lying down on the floor in my room. I Was drawing a picture of the king getting hanged, and Mienray was reading a children's book. When Mienray finished reading, he climbed onto my back and looked at what I was drawing. "You're a good artist," he told me.
My voice was shaky since his leg was between my legs, and of course it'd caused me to get dirty thoughts. "Th-thanks."
"The Goddess Tchunin has blessed you."
"Indeed she has..."
"Qweevan... what's that under your bed?"
"Eh?" It was the gift I was supposed to give him after dinner. "Ah. Er. Nothing! I was in a hurry to clean up and stuffed everything under my bed." Not far enough, I thought.
"Can I see?"
"Curious aren't you?"
Mienray nodded and crawled over to my bed. I put my pencil down and slid over beside him as he took the present out from under my bed and opened it. "Oh my... these are beautiful," he said as he studied the earrings I bought for him. "Why don't you wear them?"
"Because... they aren't mine. They belong to a very special friend."
"Oh?"
I nodded. "They're your earrings."
"They are?"
Again, I nodded. "I... love you, Mienray..."
I expected him to be shocked about it, since he didn't think anybody would ever fall in love with him. But he said something different. "I don't remember owning these earrings... Oh well!"
I chuckled and kissed him on the cheek. "You're so adorable..."
