What makes a person alive?
is it their blood?
it is their time on the road?
or is it the idea that they are free?
Unbridled passion rides their decisions
yet they stand with regret and sorrow.
Does the fact that they feel alive scare them?
Is the thought of being alive the thing that they are afraid of most?
Do they still hold close the comfort of chains?
Why then do they fear being alive?
They seek the thought of being alive
but that thought has one solution.
The solution of death brings about
a different kind of freedom.
You may haunt the world as a specter
You may have done enough deeds to enter Heaven
or Hell
The freedom of being "alive"
Freedom?
Is an illusion only seen through once the trap has been sprung.
Find the illusion and you find that everyone is "alive"
Just restrained by chains.
