I lay there in my bed with the lights off and the curtains closed, but little streams of the moon's light seemed to make it through the barrier.

I was curled up in a ball, with my stuffed animals surrounding me as a shield from the outside world.
"Solitude is the state of being alone and secluded from other people, and often implies having made a conscious choice to be alone."
Only I could hear nothing but the wind of the storm heading towards my house.

Only I was that focused on the pain and loneliness of nature's fury.
