I was able to get a phone number from a friend on Gaia.
Well, the phone conversation was weird.
Really weird.
But memorable.
The memorable thing about it was the favorite thing said by both of us.
Her:
"Hold on-hold on-hold on." ...
"Jillian! JILLIAN!" (occasionally, an..."Ow! Owww!" wink
a "I have a (object here). I'm going to throw it at Jillian."
...Then "I missed". I never heard a "yes! I hit" or anything similar.
and then an "Are you there?"
Me:
"Okay."
"Yes, I'm here."
"Yes, I'm here."
"Yes."
"Yes."
"No, actually, I'm not."
...well, it was a good conversation nonetheless. It lasted for about 50 minutes until her parents arrived, then I heard...
"Who's on the phone?"
"(I could've sworn she said 'my boyfriend' once.)"
"Are they a boy or girl?"
"Boy."
...later...
"He's from North Carolina."
"How do you know someone from North Carolina?"
"I met him on the Internet--"
(RULE NUMBER ONE FOR ANYBODY! THAT IS NOT SOMETHING A PARENT WANTS TO HEAR, ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE A GIRL AND SAY IT'S A BOY YOU MET ONLINE! BECAUSE THEN...)
Another person on the phone after a "Don't tell her anything" from my "talkee".
"Hello?"
"Hello!"
"What's your name?"
"K****" (Stalkers, no one will know my name!)
"K****?"
Pause.
"How old are you?"
"Fifteen."
Pause.
Pause.
Pause.
*click*
And that was it!
It was one of the best conversations I had on the phone, although I didn't do much talking.
