How it happened, Katya wasn't really sure. She met him at a football game. You see, she attends a private girls' school, and having no football team of their own, she decided to watch the one of the guys' school down the street. In a sense that's where it all started.
Until that unassuming night, Katya lived as any teenage girl would. Went to school, participated in after school activities, and hung out with her friends. Normal girl stuff. No one, least of all herself would have suspected her of being anything other than a typical teenage girl.
Noise echoed through the halls as morning announcements ended and the rowdy girls were dismissed to their classes. As though she'd done it since the age of two, she slipped between clusters of gossiping peers to her friend Izzy. She grasped her shoulder long enough to say "gallery 2nd period. you have to hear about last night," before plunging ahead into the crowd, on her way to Pre-Calculus.
