A legend I made-up
Legend has it that long ago a young princess named Sue fell in love with a handsome young mad named Lee. When they were little the had no friends. They were alone for many years until they were teenagers. They met in this very lake. Sue’s father didn’t like Lee and even wanted him banished. Sue then over heard her father talking to a shadow. The shadow was the king of darkness. Sue went to Lee as fast as she could. The shadow saw her run and followed her. Soon Sue got to Lee and told him about her father talking to the shadow about banishing him. Lee hugged her and told her not to worry but then Lee saw the shadow. Lee hugged Sue closer and told the shadow what he wanted. The shadow separated Sue from Lee and took a firm grip on him. Sue pleaded for the shadow to let him go. The shadow refused her request and then started to go under. Sue took out a necklace and said “If you won’t let him go then I’ll give you my soul for him.” The necklace glowed and Sue was gone. Now people say the shadow vanished others say it still roams the lake but no one really knows...
