Okay, so today a guy came into student services all pissy and it got to the point where we had to call insecurity. He was pissed that we kept confiscating his grandson's phone and had to go through procedures to get it back. He wanted us to just give it to him, which we can't do w/out calling the kid's mom and looking at his ID. 5+ people, including everybody from hall monitors to the policeman to Ms. Diamond, tried to tell him that he couldn't get the phone w/out going through the policy and he told them that now he officially gives his grandson permission to not give his stuff to a hall monitor and that if they wanted it, they'd have to bully it out of him. (You'd think he'd tell his grandson to just not get caught again, but no,tells him to not give it to hall monitors and then ends up getting in more trouble.) He was cursing so colorfully and saying that Mrs. Alice (deans secretary) was the 'big gameplayer' and that why don't we bring in more security and he was saying it the whole time at the top of his voice. The most he said to me was probably 5 words total, but he was yelling at everyone as they came in and I was right smack dab in the middle of it. I felt like he was gonna kill me (that's how hostile he was), so after 10 min+ of enduring sitting and listening to what he was saying to everyone else I left and went down the hall to the front office. Ms. Worthen and the other secretary saw me and when I said I was too scared to stay in SS anymore they said I could stay for as long as I wanted. So I sat there for 10 min talking to Dannielle and Steph until the secretary came over and said that she didn't know where the guy was but he wasn't in SS anymore, so I headed back down there. Ms. Diamond, Mrs. Alice, Ms. Tiffany, and another hall monitor were all talking about what had just happened and Ms. Diamond was angry that he'd scared students and they couldn't have that here. Then she saw me and I apologized for not being able to stay with Mrs. Alice and help her. Ms. Diamond said it wasn't my fault and asked if I had been scared. I admitted I had and she comforted me and rubbed my back for about 5 min while she finished up talking to the others. She was nice enough to get me a soda too.
To sum it up, it was just plain scary. I thought he was gonna break out w/ a shotgun and Columbine the place, you know? That's how bad it was. It was so horrible I almost cried. I was shaking so bad I was still shaking when I was telling drew about it after school! What made it worse was after, when we were sitting in SS talking about what just happened and one of the hall monitors comes and says the guy parked across the street and was sitting there, but then we hear a little while later that he left. But I was preparing to dive under a desk or something just in case he came in w/ a gun. I'm so jumpy right now. I've never been near someone that angry and felt so threatened in my life. I was so afraid to move or make a sound cuz I thought he'd reach over the counter and throttle me or something. To be quite honest, I've never feared for my life more than I did today.
The whole thing started at like, 12:40 and ended at 1ish.
