I'll splatter blood on the pages
As the wounds are not shutting
And every kid should know
That there is a price to cutting
I'll spill out all my thoughts
Even though they seem insane
Then you'll understand how it feels
To fire a bullet through your brain
I'm going to change the way you think
With my only weapon of rhyme
And it's going to save some lives
One shaky step at a time

By refusing to lie to it

And people will read these unusual words,
