She was broken, defeated. She had invested her entirity into something, and it blew up in her face. You were there to catch her, and you protected her. You wrapped those dark wings around her and created a perfect world simply for the two of you. A perfect little heaven... But then, heaven turned to hell. Blissfully ignorant, she gladly embraced this hell just the same. Unfortunately, nothing is ever as it seems. She was being eaten alive by doubt, distrust, and uncertainty. She fell in love with a ghost, a horrible, unforgivable mistake. Things were great, amazing even, sometimes. When she was with you, just near you, nothing else mattered. You were the sanguine distraction that she had longed for. But now it seems that she needs a distraction from her distraction... Does that not defeat the purpose...? She keeps telling herself: "Let Fate guide. It is not up to you, silly little girl..." But it appears that Fate is on a neverending lunch break. This poor, little girl... That is not what she is. You've twisted her into feeling as though that is her existance. She is not a helpless, incompetent, little girl. She can, and will, do as she pleases.
I'd love to see you try to stop her...
