ABOUT ME- EXTENDED
LONG STORY:
Where do I start? Well, my name is Ashleigh, pronounced like Ashley. I was born in Sydney, Australia. I'm chinese. I'm turning 15 on the 3rd of May. My life became complicated the moment my mum found a job in Singapore. I had to throw away and let go of a lot of things.
Firstly, my friends. I cannot live without my friends. I was in this huge group of crazy people, who I absolutely adore. But the moment my mum called me and told me they'd accepted her, my heart shattered, knowing that I could possibly never see those crazy people ever again. Even if I did return, it wouldn't be the same. I'd be forgotten.
Secondly, my relatives. I'll really miss my old, old aunties and their sloppy kisses, their painful cheek squeezing, and their equally painful squawking and yelling. I'll miss my cousins, and their mature lectures, their extremely stylish fashion sense, and their acting all high and mighty over me. I'll miss my cousin's babies, who are blindingly cute. It depresses me to say that they will not remember me when I return.
Lastly, my most bestest friend in the whole wide world, Jake (Clockwork Tragedy). I've known him for 3 years now, and I simply adore him. I can trust him with my life, and share all my secrets with him. He tells me the truth, and I appreciate it. I can ask him anything, he will be the answer. We get along like peanut butter and jelly. Sometimes I just wish there was was no one in the world but us.
He is my blood, my breath, my heartbeat. And I can't live without him. It hurts to be so far away from him. There's no one in the world that can cheer me up but him. He ALWAYS makes me happy, whether I like it or not. When we fight, we always get back together and apologize and be cute about it.
He's the most bestest friend any girl could EVER have, even if he's a guy. I find that he understands me more than any GIRL I've ever known.
I love him more than anything. He is my everything.
If I had to write a lifestory about myself, the only thing I'd have to say is "Jake", because Jake IS my life.
But Singapore didn't turn out so bad. I actually really like it. My condo is awesome, the food is great, the people are nice, and I'm going to the Australian International School. So basically, I'm learning the same thing as as friends in Australia. Life is pretty good so far. School is awesome because I have made many awesome new friends. Also, I only found out that I have many other relatives on my dad's side, that I never knew about until I moved to Singapore.
I have made new Singaporean friends too. Most of the friendships were made on Gaia. I didn't think there'd be any Singaporeans on Gaia. I found them in a joint artshop, called the SG Kopitiam. A Kopitiam is like a little foodcourt. They have Kopitiams EVERYWHERE in Singapore.
I LOVE EVERYONE IN THE KOPITIAM 8D. They're like family to me now. I'm also an artist. 8D
