Together we grew our garden
Where every strand of grass
Was a paper strong linked memory
To a grazing green past
Then scattered in the beds
Were little flecks of dirt
Like stark struck dead flies
Yhat had hit our wall of hurt
The flowers had opened full
Until all the colors bled into one
Because a morbid mess ran
From our last elements of fun
The trees grew so strong
And winter shook off every leaf
Like your rejection of my affection
Left bare with lifeless greif
The roses only grew strong,
Because they were fueled by our greed
Foul fresh feeding foxgloves
That made our fingers bleed
You were the worst December
And this is what we grew,
A garden of hate and love,
That was destroyed to tatters by you

Everyone promises you a happily ever after.... but life turns into a different kind of fairy tale.
