Horrible
How this ugliness
consumes me
And prevents me
from who I want to be
How it covers me
and is impossible to take off
And clings so deep
it becomes me
It affects me
and what I look like
Destroys what I want
and even ways of getting it
It won’t come off
with soap or water
No matter how hard
I scrub
It’s horrible
I can hide it
so people don’t know
but I always will
And until it’s gone
I am
forever
imprisoned
