eh some stuff I feel like sharing with people....

Still Here
Here one day and gone the next,
Life is very unexpected.
Once overwhelmed by the tragedy that is death,
What happens to your loved ones?

No longer able to embrace, but there you are tucked safely in a comfy casket.
No longer able to speak, but we are here to tell everything for you.
The ones who care surround you with the warmth of love; they cry for you.
They talk to you and sing sweet songs of the past.
And they talk about what they used to do with you.

The aroma of flowers still dances around in the room as we listen to the widow’s words.
And as we leave we gently spread flowers around you, but this will never be a goodbye.
The holy man teaches us that those who truly love you will be able to let you go
and we listen to his words.

Looking back we can all see the good times we had,
Where everything is fun and easy; we all had such warm smiles
But even when the hands of god have come to take you in, we will remember this:
This is never a goodbye, it’s until we meet again.
When we think about it, you never left.
For you are still here, right in our hearts.
