zOMG
So, zOMG was released last month, and it is really exciting and all, but... well, I'm one of these epople who go crazy about it for a week or so, and then I get a sort of overload thing going, and my play time decreases till it's almost non-existent.
And I've gone through all those steps this month. So in one month, I've been addicted, lost interest, and now I think I'll try and play it at least once a week.
I think part of the reason I lost interest is I just upgraded all my rings to CL 6, and I ge this realization. right now, all I can beat are anchor bugs in gold beach, and saws won't drop anything for me. It's going to take me a pretty long time, using the quest that gives you 2 orbs for every 20 anchor bugs to be finished, and that sort of leaves me with a boring repeatable quest to do over and over and over...so it's kind of easy to loose interest. Up to about cl 4 you have an area for each cl (1-2=village greens, 2-3= Bills Ranch 2.5-3.5=Dead Man's Pass 3-4= Zen Gardens) Then you kinda have to know that there is no easy area for a cl 5-6 to train. It's rather annoying. I mean, sure, buccaneer broad walk could act like a 5-6 training ground, but... there is ONE chest there, and no quests =/ it doesn't seem right, now does it? I mean, sure, I could just BUY stronger rings, but ... well, that is a sort of cheating, don't you think? When you see a cl 10 player with 100 orb total charge, you can't help but think 'wow, she/he totally bought out on this game >_> '. I like the idea for those who just want to get certain items, but... I'm one of those people who say the journey is half the fun. I never said all of the journey was fun though.
Actual Life
Well, for those of you who didn't know, my parents have split up, and they were working on their divorce papers and what not. it was actually a rather awkward time for me. Sure, I'm 18 and all, but that doesn't mean I want to watch one of my parents cry. It's sort of like loosing a security blanket you've held on to for so long. You don't really know how to act, and you can't really just ask them to shut up, because you don't have the heart for it.
Aside from that, my hunt for a job continued and failed. guess I'll need to print a bunch more resumes and go looking again.
Christmas and Birthday shopping was involved here to. My dad's birthday was November the 27th, and I got that whole "HOMG! I haven't gotten him a Birthday present yet D: " thing like... a week before his Birthday. Not Good! I'm one of these people who hates shopping with a passion, and I never know what to get anybody, so when I go shopping I'm always like 'I wonder if they'll like this..?" so I need to bring someone along who knows them to ask. X_x shopping is evil...

Well, believe it or not, I haven't done ANY 'animations' but I've been working on my drawings. Why you ask? CosI got my scanner working, oh yes I did!! which means I have like 9 months of art to scan and upload onto my deviant art account. Actually, I already scanner all the good ones, but I need to resize them in photoshop because they are huge. and then I'll post some of them here. Because I'm slack, I'm just going to give you a link to my deviantart. Check it out, please?

I also have been doing a few small avie art pieces, scanning them in and so on. I'm kinda surprised that people wanted to see/buy some of my art to be honest. It has most definitely given me a esteem boost. :3 Actually, all of these are of the same vie (the user likes to change his avie alot)
And I recently found my charcoal (while looking for a silver pen XD I was wrapping presents at the time) So when the next request came in, I thought 'Hey! Lets do it in charcoal!' I'll admit, I'm not that great with charcoal, but... I do love it so. I think it is one of my favorite drawing utensils. Anyway, here is a sample of my charcoal work.
X3 I sort of cheat with my charcoal, though. I do an outline in pencil first and then use the charcoal over the pencil. I guess it's a bit like inking a picture XD
New Things? :O
That's right, I have new things to do. I recently decided that "Hey, bugger my pride, I'm going to make a pokemon Fire Red walk-through with only fire type pokemon! But I'm going to make it a video with random music and subtitles! >D" This has lead to a few things.
First off, I actually know how to record videos played on an emulator, which is always good. Now I can make walk-through's of any GBA, GBC or GB games biggrin YAY for me! now why restrict myself to only those formats? because I don't want to find another emulator. To be honest, I haven't actually uploaded the walk-through yet.
Second thing is, I now know the basics of Windows Movie Maker. What does that mean? I can now actually use it, where as before I'ld stare at it being like "WTF is this? How does it work? *fails at using it* ". It's an obstacle I'm glad to see gone. Anyway, after about 3 days of making the first parts of a waklthrough, I had a thought, which leads me to my third point...
I can make music videos! No, really, I can! So far I've only done two, both using clips from Kingdom Hearts series of games. Both also are centered around Roxas and Axel also >_> The first one is quite serious and I really just thought that Axel and Roxas fit the song.

The second work, however, is something I woke up in the morning with it in my head. When you wake up with something like this, you know if you don't get it out It'll stay there until you die. It is most definitely filled with more humor. By the by, you need to read the coloured subtitles (I don't know why Axel's Red ones are so hard to read...)
Roxas so needs glasses...
On another note, I'm thinking about actualy opening a animation and art shop, but i don't want to do it alone. So... I'm looking for someone who would want to join me in taking over the world opening an all-round art shop biggrin
