I hate to admit it, but I'm a fangirl. The difference is, if I am a fangirl of something, I won't let you know about it because I fangirl in private. As in, where NO ONE can see me.
Case in point: Kaoru from Dir en grey. I fangirl over him regularly. I've met him now three times in person, talk with him on the phone sporatically and he doesn't know that I fangirl over him. Which is how it's going to remain.
I don't know why but fangirling bothers me for some reason. I find it embarassing not just for the person being fangirled over, but for the person themselves. I mean...do they not realize that the object of your obsession probably thinks you're crazy or another one of "those" fans? The ones that they don't want to deal with ever because, let's face it, you're crazy?
tl;dr: Fangirls are scary and I'm bored at work.
