Short & Sweet Biography
Richard’s grandparents emigrated from Germany with his mother when she was 10 years old. His father was born in the USA shortly after his parents emigrated. They grew up together and married each other in Frankfurt, Texas.
Born on April 1st, 1981, he grew up learning both German and English. When his family moved to Illinois in his early teens he got used to a colder winter and developed his love for coats. His grandparents moved back to Germany and they would visit every December for Christmas, much to Richard’s delight. It’s in Germany where he gets all of his coats and retreats to so he can wear them.
It wasn’t until his class started learning about the Holocaust that he started dying his hair from its natural blonde to brown after his classmates kept calling him a Nazi; he got into many fights with other students over this. If he had his way he would have gotten green contacts, but on that his parents were indignant.
Richard went to Full Sail University to learn film. After proving to be one of the most promising of the students there he teamed up with another director, Gregory Richeson. He didn't have much to do with actively directing the movie Greg was filming, he was more of an intern, learning what it was like to really be doing it.
The two men became good friends and he was even invited to Greg's youngest son's wedding, both as a guest and so that he could film the ceremony to use as a project for school. It gets him an A.
Now he finds himself finishing his first movie and about to start on his second, the success of the first film is still yet unknown. He lives in a rather large house and owns a norwegian elkhound named Kaiser that acts as both a companion and ever-vigilant watch dog.

Ending idea: Grey finds the wedding recording and convinces Richard to watch it with him. As they watch it Grey begins to remember going to that wedding, he can be seen somewhere in the background talking with some of the bridesmaids, and they realize they were both at the wedding but never really noticed each other. Richard had thought that Grey seemed familiar but couldn't figure out why until then.
