The wheel of time always turns.... and so do I.....
This is a true story guys... really happened to me.

I am in awe. Today I found out just how tough the iPod nano is and I'm still trying to wrap my mind around it. Seriously, this is no joke.
For Christmas last year, my mother bought me an 8gyg iPod nano. I, like most iPod owners, filled it with my music and I use it to listen to my favorites songs just about everyday. Well, today was one of those seemingly normal days. I had no school due to it being the end of the quarter so my mom dragged me to the cities with her on a usual visit to the VA. We spent a good two hours there, me listening to my music while I waited for my mother to get done. After that was done, I slipped the iPod into a pocket on my mother's purse and we headed back out to the car. Arriving at the car, I tossed my mother's purse into the car beside where my feet would be and climbed in, shutting the door behind me.
Things started to get interesting, however as we began leaving the VA. It started with the occasional thump against the car door. We thought, at first, that it was the gas cap having come loose. It was obvious only shortly after that it was something hanging off the car and banging against the door. We drove for about fifteen minutes, most of it going 70 miles per hour down the highway before we managed to find a place to stop. We pulled into the parking lot of one of the many stores and parked before I climbed out. What I was greeted with caused me to fall into a fit of hysterical laughter. My iPod, by sheer accident, had fallen from my mother's purse and out the car door. It was hanging by nothing but the headphones attached to it and amazingly still worked like a charm. In fact, I listened to it just ten minutes before I wrote this letter.
The poor thing had been dragged and bounced off the highway and car for a good fifteen minutes, and it somehow still managed to work properly. I must say though, the corners of it are very nicely rounded. After having survived the incident, the iPod is now known in our house as Gerald McBoing-Boing.
Enclosed with this letter are some pictures as proof. Just an interesting incident that I thought was note worthy. What we can't believe is how good it still looks. These are tough little puppies!

Holy crap! That iPod is like Jesus! XD You should have this journal entry framed because it is that amazing. xD I mean, seriously! It survived 70 miles per hour for more than two seconds! Those headphones of yours must have been pretty incredible! I'm glad you didn't fall short of an iPod. x3
