Matt opened his eyes. He was in the middle of a forest. He wouldn't

call it a "happy forest" though. He stood up on his feet.

"Youch!" he shouted , "Help!!! Monter!!-A tree branch..." He pulled at

the branch that was grappling at his sweater. It wouldn't let go. IT

was as if it was grabbing for him. He took his sweater off. He heard a

ruffle of brambles.

"I-I know kung-fu!! I'm a black belt!!!!! RAWR!!!" Matt shouted throwing

punches.

"Is that so?" came a soft voice from the brambles. Out of the darkness a girl who looked about nine appeared. The scary odd thing was her left eye was a deep blue while her right eye was green. She had dark brown hair that almost looked black.She was holding a stuffed animal bear.

"Errr.." Matt said in gruff heroic voice, "Little girl this place is dangerous. But the girl was walking in the other direction.
Matt notice that she did not have any shadow. HE gulped and followed her.
"So..What's your named?"Matt asked,
"Alley." said the girl.
"....."
"What?" asked the girl.
"Well..Um my name's Matt.!" Matt said slowly.
"Intresting-There you are!" Alley shouted to the bushes.
"Go away!!!" came the voice from the bushes. The girl stopped moving toward the bushes.
"I-I thought...Don't you want to play with me anymore?" asked Alley quavering.

"I WANT A REAL FRIEND!" said the voice from the bushes, "Not one just made of shadows." Light shot out from the bushes and hit Alley. Matt did not know what to do. The girl burst into darkness. And her stuffed animal fell to the ground and dissapeared. Shadows leaped out of Alley...Then nothing. Out of the bushes appeared a wolf. It glared at Matt. Then it grew wings and shrank. It had turned into a hawk. And it flew away. Matt sniffed the air. He smelled smoke.
"HOLY CRAP!!!" he shouted my hair is on fire!!!" Matt shouted.

Matt awoke with cold water on his face."What the-?"
Manda was over him with a bucket in her hands. "Your awake!" she shouted happily.
"Oh.." Matt said. A dream?
"No "Manda said "It is not a dream..."
"The others..?"
"Let them sleep..."
Matt nodded. His face turned red and shouted "Why was my hair on fire?"
Manda shrugged and tended to the fire.
