Alright!! So, the Twilight movie came out on Friday. I'm a huge fan of the books, so I've been keeping up with the status of this movie for ages. Honestly, I've been a bit worries about whether or not the movie would be good. Usually when I watch movies based on books, I find them quite disapointing (psst! Can you say Harry Potter? Yeach...)

Anyways, for the last week or so, I've been terrified that the movie would be awful. When I finaly got to see it at midnight on Friday, I was amazed. The movie was perfect. Sure, it didn't follow the book perfectly, scenes were taken out, and a few things were un-explained. Despite that, the movie kept to the basic storyline and fitted it into a movie. There was a lot of action and the romance scenes were great. I was spellbound for the entire movie.

So, as if going once wasn't enough, I went again at 4:45. My Mom went with me that time and she loved it too.

As if going twice wasn't enough, I have tickets for tomorrow (Saturday). Not just for one showing, no, I'm going to two. As if that's not crazy enough, I'm going twice in a row. First I'm going at 2:15 by myself. Then I'm meeting up with my brother and my Dad and going again at 4:45.

In short, the movie was incredible. Rob Pattinson, who I've been defending since he was cast, compleatly met my expectations for a filmed version of Edward. He had the perfect expressions and he's very good at brooding. The rest of the cast was great too, though I still picture myself as Bella. ^_^ Who doesn't though?

Ah well, needless to say I'm very happy. I've never loved a movie so much that I went more than once in a day. I've gone days in a row before, but now twice in one day. So, that's my crazy adventure regarding the Twilight movie.

UPDATE: On Sunday, I went again. Twice. In a row. I went with my Mom to the 4:45 showing and after that I met up with some friends to go to the 7:15 showing. That brings my total viewings up to 6. I'm not saying the movie was as good as the book (it wasn't), just that it was close enough to keep me very happy. heart Also, Rob Pattinson is brilliant. To be able to play a character like Edward on screen is a huge task and he pulled it off perfectly. I know I talked about that earlier, but after 6 times, I appriciate him even more. heart
