why does it have to be this way
stuck in such dismay
i feel as if you're fading away
i live in memories of yesterday

it once was fine and great
but i guess it soon all turns to hate
i miss my friend you used to be
but with her you couldn't give a damn about me

i miss those good days when we'd laugh
stay up all night with energy drinks no such thing as a decaff.
those times are gone , they've left me alone
i feel as if im a zombie stuck in a zone.

you love her yet she pushes you around
and you let her pumble me to the ground
i thought we were friends
but somehow i suppose everything meets an end.

thanks for being there
when i needed you it felt great knowing you dont care

i know you'll come along when the time is right.
