Wednesday, I woke her up right after she went down for a nap to give her a bath. Why? Because she was filthy. I forgot to sweep the tile before she woke up that morning and she had gummies for breakfast. So, she was all sticky and dirty. After the bath, I stuck her in the stroller and walked her up to church. Why today? Because the church does a weekly birthday thing where if you have a birthday within 2-3 weeks of this particular youth meeting, they bring cake and sing to you and stuff. No, they didn't specially get a cake for Sophi and I wouldn't ask them to while she's this young. Her birthday falls on the same day as one of the youth parents, so there was already going to be cake. Anyway, I walked her up to the church and we were the first ones there so the gate was locked. We waited for a bit and I played with her feet while she was in the stroller. I took her out right before Crystal~ the annoying ghetto b***h who just happens to be Sammy's sister; Sammy being a girl I get along with better than I used to but styill find somewhat annoying...but I'm warming up to her, I swear~ is the first one to join us and freaks out because she gets to be the first one to hold Sophia {the last time Sophi came to church, Crystal never got a turn to hold her. ninja I wonder why......} Sophia doesn't let her hold her for long. mrgreen A great judge of character, my little one is^^ Debra shows up, but stays in her car until Sammy and her{Debra's} daughter, Kaelyn, join her, at which point Debra shuts off the car and unlocks the gate. Sophia got to drink a little bit of caffeine free root beer which was cute because I put it in her bottle and she'd taste it, then make a face, then taste it again, until all the foam is gone, at which point she downs it like there's no tomorrow xD She keeps giving the "I'm tired" vibe but doesn't crash until dinner. I tried to share some of my fruit with her but she was too tired to want real food {le gasp. She has to be REALLY tired to not want Mommy's food.} So, I put her in one of the nusery cribs and checked on her like the paranoid Mommy I am until the Belise presentation {The youth wants to go on a trip to Belise summer of 2010 to help build stuff and teach about God. I wanna go, but doubt I'll have the funds. Plus, that'd require leaving behind a 2 and 1/2 year old for a week.} I checked on her again after the presentation and she was awake, but still tired. She wanted Mommy and no one else. We ended up bringing my and her cake home because neither of us were up to eating it at the time. She passed out after bathtime{she was wearing root beer, formula, and most of the dinner I attempted to give her when we got home} only to be woken up by grandma on
Thursday~ I woke up to Shadow grabbing my a** and standing over me while my mother was holding the newly refreshed and still in her pajamas Sophia, which was totally weird because I'd been having a really odd dream involving both Shadow and my mother before I woke up. I got dressed and chatted with my mother, who was giving me time to really wake up before Sophia's neurology appointment {The story behind this is we believe she may be epoleptic. It runs in my family and the doctor we took her to said the time she's shaking~just waking up~ is like the perfect time to sieze. So, now we have to get an EEG and an MRI on my infant to make sure she's OK and if something is there, to make sure it doesn't get worse.} I get to Mom's house and she takes care of Sophia {feeds, changes, and clothes her} while I pass out watching PLayhouse Disney {Sophia and I always watch it together in the mornings. I'm a creature of habit} and have another weird dream, this one involving one of her favorite shows~The Imagintation Movers. My mom woke me up when it was time to leave and we took her to the place and filled out all the paperwork only to have them tell us Aetna is still showing up as her primary insurance and Medicade won't pay for it if it says that. My mom told them she called ahead and made sure they would pay for it and they said because it was showing up in the computer asAetna, they couldn't see her today. stare Mom called Kim on the way to drop off Ronnie at her house and Kim said Aetna dropped everyone, including her and her kids and she'd already faxed the appropriate paperwork to Medicade and it shouldn't be showing up like that. We have to go back and try again in December. So, Ron was dropped off and teh women went shopping^^ I got crayons and a sudoku puzzle book and a wordsearch puzzle book and q-tips and dandruff shampoo and McDonalds. Sophia got new shoes and McDonalds and a new stuffed animal. I got home at like 1 and hopped on Gaia to get a few hours in checking mules and guilds before the kids got home from school and Sophia crashed in her crib.
Expect parts 3 & 4 within the next few days. Her official birthday is tomorrow^^
