That Tagline for this movie, pretty much describes the original The Hill Have Eyes..

Now The story of the movie is, this family goes on trip to California and takes a detour to see a minefield owned by their father, once there, the car crashes and they are then hunted by a group of mutant-wild people who live in the hills, their leader being Papa Jupiter.

Jupiters story is he was this horrible deformed baby monster that killed his mom and got hit with a tire iron for being a a*****e. He then ran off into the hills and made his own family of cannibalistic mutant wild people..

So the Hillmen as I call them, kill one guy by setting him on fire, and 2 more by gunshot during the night they are stranded in the desert, and run off taking the baby of one of the characters. the next day they get revenge on the Hillmen and kill then one by one.

Now in this movie 3 of the family and a dog die, and 4 of the Hill people die.
The whole movie is pretty satisfying, has some pretty creepy parts, and the Hill People are pretty cool looking, esspecially Pluto, also seems most of them are named after planets/Gods:
Pluto
Mercury
Mars
Jupiter
This movie also doent make their villians seem inhuman, they get hurt, and die just like the victims, and I like that. Also the movie isnt too long or too short, and doesnt leaves you satisfied, though the ending is alittle rushed..

Overall:

Deaths/Gore:3/5 Pluto gets malled by a dog..that one was grizzly..
Screams:4/5 Alot of screams during the part when the Hillmen are in the Trailer.
Survivor Girl:3/5 Nothing specail
Villian:5/5 I actually thought the villians in this movie were really cool, and I was kinda sad to see them die..
Theme:2/5
Final verdict:4/5 Its worth a buy if you can find it..My copy is a casset I got from a Blockbuster along long time ago.
