OBAMA OBAMA OBAMA OBAMA!
WOOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
I just started writing an Election Day log. It is 5:12. Obama is winning 103-34. No surprises so far ... and Obama got
Pennsylvania, which is a good thing. That was somewhat battle-groundy. I've got a bunch of maps lined up, and I'm watching MSNBC election
coverage.
5:14
Chris:Ohio is coming in!
/crosses fingers
Mommy: Cleveland's going Democrat!
5:37
I had to take a shower. Georgia, though it was leaning more democrat than usual, is still called for republican - as well
as Mississippi. I'm surprised the news channels are deciding states when less than one percent of the votes are in. Huh.
I guess that's just how it works.
5:44
Oh. Exit pollings. Okay! smile
5:45
SO MANY states are closing polls in fifteen minutes. And it is going to be so cool. Woohoo! Maddow /is/ right ...
Obama has not flipped a red state blue and that's important. The tv is showing florida to be very red, but that's
county by county ... Obama has population there. Yaaaay!
5:47
McCain can't afford to lose any swing states ... this guy says he hasn't yet and he may not, but I think he will.
5:48
This is so exciting!
5:54
104. 38.
In ten minutes the election will look very different.
6:10
Ha! Arizona is too close to call ... anyways ... so far, I've got Obama leading 175-76. Not all of the closed polls are in,
though. According to the fivethirtyeight guy, Montana is essential for a McCain win, all the predictions with McCain
winning have Montana. This is exciting. New states coming in left and right!!!
6:23
Obama flipped a state! He got Ohio! I don't want to say it ... but ... but ....
I'll refrain myself.
/squee
6:24
No Republican has ever won the presidency without winning Ohio. Awesome. More odds stacked against McCain. This is
so cool. So awesome. So great.
6:27
Wow. Obama's little bar on the MSNBC channel is so much closer to 270 than McCain's.
6:45
This is so cool! Everything is going so fast! OBama has 200 ... but with California, Hawaii, Washington, Oregon he's won.
6:51
Sommore states are coming in in about nine minutes. Woohoo! I am just so absolutely excited about this right now, so
sorry that half of my comments are something along the lines of "awesome, yay!"
6:59
Small computer emergency. Had to reset my latimes map. (which is very cool for tracking, by the way) Luckily, I'm ready
for seven o'clock.
7:01
Iowa is Obama's!
My mom says, "That's his third flip."
Cool.
7:02
Chris, "Indiana ... is now seven thousand votes difference. Out of one million." Woah. Pretty close. Should be reliably
republican.
7:03
Miz-ore-ah?
Nope.
Miz-ore-ee. No newscastor is going to change my mouth! > smile
7:14
Eeeeeeeeeeee! /squeals of joy
Nate Silver says it's an Obama win!!!
Woohoo! Go pollster dude!
7:18
Me, "Isn't this so cool!"
My mom, "This is so cool!"
Also, pizza should be getting here soon. Yum!
7:24
They keep focusing on this park in Grant Park of Chicago ... apparently it's a super cool party. ^^
7:27
43 hundred vote difference in indiana
39 hundred vote difference in north carolina (I think that's what Chris said)
7:28
I still don't want to say it ...
7:30
No fair. Everybody elses MSNBC maps work with the major cities. sad
But I'm not really upset. I'm so excited!
7:39
Yum. Pizza.
That ice rink is so cool. I want an icelectoral map!
7:43
The pizza seems like it's been sitting around for an hour.
7:47
CALIFORNIA POLLS CLOSE SOON! Woohoo! My hopes and dreams:
1: passed
2: not passed
3: not passed
4: not passed
5: passed
6: not passed
7: not passed
8: not passed
9: not passed
10: not passed
11: not passed
12: not passed
7:50
Obama has Virginia. He's going to win. I'm sure of it. Unless California MAGICALLY goes republican. Because right now,
Obama has 220. California is 55.
7:51
I feel bad for the McCain camp parked outside where McCain's going to make a speech.
Or do ? > biggrin
I kinda do.
DON'T JINX IT SARAH!
7:52
Chris got the Champaign which will be opened in about ten minutes.
7:55
Indiana is so close!!! Although it doesn't /really/ matter probably ... I'd like a lotta states to be blue. smile
7:58
This is so cool!!! The newscastors are excited, too. Everybody is excited!
Poor McCain.
PALIN 2012!!!
8:01
The newscastors called it!!! OBAMA IS OUR NEW PRESIDENT!!!! SO cool! Free at last, free at last, thank god almighty we're
free at last. smile

God didn't do crap. It was the American people who did this.
Personally, I wouldn't say we are free. That is going a little too far.
Like I said in my entry, we are entering a new era.
I personally wouldn't use MSNBC. They are the Fox News of Democrats. This is the one case when I do use Fox News, actually. I know they will do anything they can to keep McCain looking strong, so when they say Obama will win, I know it's true.
By the time Pennsylvania was won it was over. McCain needed it to win. I knew as soon as I heard about it that Obama would overtake McCain by a landslide.
I want the redistricting act to pass! Think about it, I could redistrict!
*This one's shaped like a kitty!*
*it covers half of California!*
*Well, let's divide the other 54 in Chico.*
