Now there are many re-makes that suck..(Texas Chainsaw, Heart Break Kid, Omen, ect.) but..since I havent seen the original..this is pretty good in mah book..(Im planning on seeing the original though..)

Now the movie starts off following a newsreporter as she and her camera man "Shadow" a group of fire fighters..
The movie starts off slow, but picks up at the apartment building where apearently theres a "sick" old lady..they go cheak it out and the old lady looks..pretty creepy, shes got a big gash in her stomach, and shes foaming at the mouth(Like in I eat your Flesh I Drink Your blood)..So things get alittle out of hand, and she attacks the firemen, maming one, this results in them holding her down, as they bring the wounded fireguy down the stairs..
When down there they find out they have been seiled in and cant vacate the premises..Also the old lady kills and throws a fireman from the stairs, cool moment pirate
Now this is offically were the movie starts in my opinion as they go off and cheak the old ladys room once more, in result having one dead cleaning lady, one "Dead" old lady, and a hommicidal rat attacking the camera guy..not to metion that cops out to get the camera guy..he gets no breaks..

So they start to bring down all these annoying people..and even one sick one..and then try to escape a few times, some people die, some get infected, eventually one stated that they have rabies(Reffrece to Rabid) and really alot of filler happens..mostly just people kinda dying..or just walking around looking for exits..which they dont find..one guy gets it good by a rabid dog(Cujo)
Now..You start to kinda piece together the plot as they send in people to test the surivors..

One persons dog apearently got infected and they brought it to the vet, then the dog infects the whole vet, (they probably had to do the samething to that place)Now the dog could have infected the little girl(The girl who latter in the movie becomes a creepy little zombie), and Could have infected the other dog, and bite the old lady!

Now All hell breaks lose, the zombies are taking over

Its just a Firefighter, the newslady, and the camera guy(Who has an awesome scene where he kills a rabid one with his camera..awesome..)
They were told by the oldman in a earlier scene they might be able to escape threw the atic, but they need the key, which is in his room.
Now this whole scene is one horribly giggly mess of camera MADNESS! scream
They run around the whole building killing, hitting, knocking anything in their way, while all these Rabid Ones are running wild eating people and just being themselves..
Now they get the key and head to the atic..and one grabs the firefighter and eats him(Mmm Fireman..) and they dont even try to save him!..Selfish bastards..Now they get to the attic and hide there..

The atic is the main scene telling the whole story of the movie, but it tells it without..telling..
Lemme explain:
1.)The rats..
2.)the books, and newspapers
3.)the labequipment
It all explains it:
The man who lived there was expirementing with rats, and made somekind of virus, ultimatly infecting himself, and having one get lose, the one that got lose infects a dog and eventually gets stomped on..

Now the end is..Crappy, but all these kind of movies have shitty endings:
Cannibal Holocaust(First to do this)
Blair Witch
Dairey of The Dead
& Cloverfield
All had crap endings, and all have the same qualities..

Now This movie yes is gorey..kinda..(Never be as gorey as DeadAlive)and the plot is kinda not clear(On purpose) but the zombies(Or Rabid Ones as I call'em) are satisfying(exept the last..)and the overall movie might be long, but is worth a rent or a watch..

I mean its nothing new or revolutionary..its just a zombie movie..
Now the real problems with this movie is:
It trys to scare you too many times, and it fails..most of the time..it does have its moments though(And a cool death where the camera guy kills one with the camera)
Another problem is its alot of filler where they go find exits..it gets old.
and the main problem is, the characters suck..They are un-aplealing and are boring..But they all die..so woo.

Overall its okay, but nothing amazing..Better off seeing it in a movie theater then at your home because, really nothing is better then the atmosphere of the movie theater when it comes to horror movies.And..Its really..really long...Also recomend seeing it with a buddy..just funner..

Overall:
Deaths/Gore:2/5 There are some moments where he shoots people and I laugh..
Screams: 3/5 Eh..Nothing specail..
Survivor Girl:2/5 Well besides the fact she doesnt survive..Shes annoying, and frankly doesnt do ANYTHING in this movie..
Zombies:3/5 Really its nothing that specail..If I whanted to see good rabid zombies, Id Watch "Rabid"..
Final verdict 3/5:Its worth a rent, or just a watch at theaters when your in a big group with friends..
