Always waiting for the light in darkness, can sometimes take to long..
I remember the days when all i knew was pain
it was something that was never plain
The fears and sadness buried deep in my heart
I felt like i was being torn apart
My wounds never seemed to heal
Pain and sadness was all i could feel
Until the day i found you
I felt like my life had started anew
I found hope in your tender embrace
And the love we formed at such a fast pace
Is this how happyiness is supposed to feel?
I asked myself, wondering if this was all real
You chuckled as you held me tight
As if you were telling me everything would be alright
I smiled slightly as i wrapped my arms around you
Wondering if this was how all dreams came true
As if on cue i could feel sunlight in my eyes
Just then i noticed the sun start to rise
I looked once more up at you
And started to shed tears the color blue
For once they weren't from pain or sadness
They were of my newly found happyiness
You gently kissed away my tears and held me tight
Knowing now everything in my life was right
