Once Raphiel had made it back to the States, he didn't bother much with checking for a new job yet. He liked to spend time to himself after each job so he could recooperate for the next one. Thus, he got in his car and drove to the city where he'd go to his favored Bar and catch a quick bite to eat and drink a little. As he parked and got out of the car, he placed sun glasses on to shield his eyes from the sun and their abnormal silver from regular people. Walking out he noticed that there was a women sitting infront of the bar. One he'd never seen before in the city. The sight made him hesitate briefly as he crossed the street. Only when a car horn went off did he pay more attention and cross the street entirely. Not a minute after he walked in and ordered did a flash of silver catch his eye near the entrance. He didn't get up but he looked in the general direction. Whatever it was he didn't get a glimpse of it. Thinking little of it he began to eat his food
"Whiskey. Sour." Says a female voice from behind him coming closer. It was the girl he'd seen outside earlier. She'd decided to come in and order whiskey. "And any red meat ya got." She added once she was down. Raphiel just looked at her and contemplated her odd order.
"Red meat? I know it's good in iron but that's not healthy in the least." He said to her.
"Well it's not healthy to stare at people in the middle of the street." She retorted.
"I was just saying that you made an out of the ordinary order." Raph sayd defensively
"Yeah and you smell like gun powder."
"Where did that come from? I said ORDER not ODOR" He said put heavy emphasis of each word.
"Whatever." she mutters as she excepts her order from the bartender. "Any new bouties?" She askes the tender.
The bartender shrugs as he begins to clean a few cups. "No not today."
"Ah so you are a sword wielding bounty hunter." Raph pointed out. "And employed by a bartender. That must not pay very much."
"I'm not employed by a bartender. I'm emplyed by the government." Frost says
"Sure." He says. "And I works at the zoo."
"I find that strange cause you smell like you been shooting all day."
"Well I'm amazed you could figure that much out."
"Are you in the army?" she askes. "Working for the authories?" she added accusingly.
"Hell no. As for what I do, I'm not permitted to tell you." He says drinking his beer.
"Why?" Boss told you not to tell anyone?"
"No I-"
"I think you're lying."
"God damn it! I can't tell you. And you didn't even let me finish my sentence." Raph yelled. He wasn't as surprised at he should have been when he looked around at the now silent bar that was staring at him because of his outburst. Pulling out his wallet, he paid his tab and left, grumbling. He crossed the street, not caring for traffic at the moment and went straight to his car. Starting the car, he turned his dashboard PDA on and scrolled through some of the new jobs that were sent to him. He found a nice paying one and accepted it.
"Standard verification." He mutters to himself. "This should be fun." Instead of driving away, he sat back and as he removed and scrolled through various things on his PDA. A few minutes went by and he replaced it and started the engine. He had the entire senario planned out. Not that it'd matter cause nothing ever went according to plan. Without checking his rearveiw mirror, he backed up but stopped when he head his car hit something and force it to the ground.
Frost had follows the angry man once he'd left to say she was sorry. Instead of approaching him though, she went to the back of his car and spied on him through the back window. "He's a hunter or a merc..." she muttered.
She should have left when he leaned back and began messing with whatever he had. Though why she didn't was beyond her. He suddenly started backing up and his car hit her, knocking her to the ground and leaving her momentarily dazed. She heard the door of his car open and close as he got out and walked out. As he came around she sat up. He looked at the car first for damage.
"Dammit...." he mutters and he see a small nick in the metal. He looked down at her. "I suppose i should be polite and ask if you were okay." he says and shrugs. "So are you?"
"Fine." she says and casually gets up and inspects her sword. It was undamaged so she sheathes it and turned to him with a still indifferent gaze. "You must be a merc. If you were a bounty hunter, I'd know."
"Congrats." he mutters and goes to the front door of his car.
Before he started driving he waited to see Frost leave so he wouldn't hit her again. Or at least thats what he told himself.


A few days pass and Raphiel approaches a building growling to himself. He'd been notified that he had to do the job he's accepted with a freelance. He hated working with teams. He leaned against a building. All he knew about the Freelance was that it was a female named Frost.
Frost had accpeted a duel job with a professional killer. She'd arrived early for the mission and was waiting for him to appear. Seeing a man walk up and lean against the building, she jumped down and landing infront of him.
"Let's get this over with." she says. "By the way my name is Frost."
"I know." He said
She turned around when he spoke hearing as if she'd heard it before. They both seemed to freeze for a moment as they assessed each other.
"Raphiel." He says shortly and brushed past her.
You've gotten be kidding me Frost thinks to herself. They could pair me with anyone on this planet and they pick the guy that hits me with his car? What the ********]
She followed up behind him and watched as he took out his gun. A dessert Eagle, loaded and safety off.
"Dog......wolf....." she mutters and checkes her gun as she followed him to the building.
"What the hell are you muttering about?" He asked coming to the door. The windows were boarded up and the door was locked.
"Definately wolf..." she says ignoring his command.
"Shut yer yap." he says and kicks the door in.The door fell in revealing a startled bunch of people At the sight of their weapons, they pulled out their own guns. Raph shot down the whole of them before they even had a chance to aim at him.
"You know i hate authority." she said as she walked in. He didn't leave anything for me... she thought to her dismay. Raph shot down the hall and she followed and helped him gun down every armed being that came at them. She stopped suddenly and waited til he rounded a corner then shifted into a wolf and bounded after him.
Raph turn when he heard what sounded like a dog rounding the corner and faultered when he saw a wolf. He shot twice before reloading but standing in a defensive manner incase it jumped. Frost dodged, using her extra sharp reflexes and growled in annoyance.
'You are an idiot' a female voice says as the wolf leaps past him and onto a gaurd.
Cursing he finished reloading and tried to ignore her voice to no avail.
"You're just lucky you doged. I should have killed you while you were down." he says. 'Though you could have warned me' he says to her mentally.
Thought you sensed it by now.' she states simply as she snaps a gaurds neck and moves on. 'After all, it was evident enough to me, or have you stopped allowing your lycan side to sense it's own species?'
'I don't give it to my lycan' he says airing out a few more gaurds. 'Now stop distracting me'
'Hmm....males must have it tough then.'
Frost settles for walking next to him in silence when there were no more opposing forced.
You haven't an idea how primitive my lycan can be. Now I repeat, stop distracting me.' Frowning he pages Sean for evac. he was paid to infiltrate and kill a drug lord. No questions asked. So that was what he went and did. Through one of the rooms he'd killed the target and verified him quickly before moving on.
A few minutes later Raph came out of the room top exit just as Sean was lowering the copter. Frost settled next to him as Sean landed perfectly and jumped up.
'Hey. Go get your stuff.' Raph says to Frost and she trots off.
'Good idea'
Sean came up and watched Frost trot off.
"Where'd you get the K-9?" he askes.
"She followed me." Raph drawled and went towards the chopper. Frost came out a moment later and Sean bent down to pet her before ushering her to the helicoper.
"You're taking her on the chopper?" Raph questions.
"Well yeah. Can't leave her here." Sean replies and starts the chopper as Frost jumps in the back. "Are you going to kee her?"
"Didn't plan on it." Raph said looking at Frost briefly.
'Hey where are we going? Frost mentally asks Raphiel.
'Back to HQ' He answers in a sharp mental tone.
'Does he know you're a lycan?'
'No and i'd like to keep it that way okay.' Raph said and turned to Sean. "You can keep her if you want to. I don't need a dog.....wolf in my house."
"You sure?" sean askes. "She looks like a mighty fine specimen."
"I wouldn't be home enough to care for her." Raph says.
'You know, Sean is alot nicer than you.' Frost says to Raph as the ExOps building comes into veiw.'By the way, when can i change back?'
'Don't know. Don't care' Raph says checking his gun and turned the saftey on.
"Well if you don't want to keep her then I will." Sean says smiling.
'I AM NOT A PET TO BE KEPT!' Frost yells at Raph.
'Well stop yelling at me about it/'
Frost jumped in the back as Sean was landing on the helipad. She shifted to human form and put her stuff on.
"Noone is keeping me." Frost says making Sean jump and jerk the helicopter to the side.
"Dammit!" Raph shouts and glares back at Frost before hitting Sean withe the butt of his gun, knocking him unconcious.
Raph gets out and pulls Sean out of the seat and leaned him against the wall of the rooftop staircase door.
"Whay so angry? Not like I blew your cover."
"Not what I had in mind that you do." Raph spat
Frost went over and touched Sean's head.
"What are you doing?"
"Replacing all his memories of my wolf form with my human form." she says.
Cursing Raph just left her up there not caring about what happened and hoping to hell they didn't meet again.
