You seek trust within the people whom you believe are your true friends. But when you lose trust in a friend you surround yourself with more dishonest people. Used and abused, scared and confused. You don't know where to turn, then in a shimmer of light stands the person that first betrayed you.
Unknown to your own actions, you charge at the old friend with vengeful eyes and before they can turn and speak, you strike without warning. Now in the middle of a small crowd, you get up leaving your friend in their own blood. Now conscience of what you've done, you look around at everyone's shocked face. Small whispers reach your ear, "How could (Your gender)
do this?" "Who knew (Your gender) had it in them.."
As you turn to leave, you notice something coming from within your friends pocket. You pick it up and see it's a letter for you. AS you read the letter your eyes swell with tears and drop to your knee. When your done reading you take your friends cold, dead hand, drop the letter, look at the crowd, take out a knife from your pocket and slit your throat.
As you fade, someone in the crowd comes over and picks up the note and reads it out loud. This note says:
- My old friend. If you are reading this right now it means you have accepted my apology and are alone at home. But it also means that I am no longer a part of this world, because in less than 2 hours I will have died. My illness is unknown at the moment, but it has been confirmed that iI will die soon. Before I leave I just wanted to give you my most sincere apologies and to tell you that you are my older siblin. In my will I left you everything of value. Thank you for being there for me through thick and thin. You were a true friend even when I wasn't Thank you for allowing me into your life and thank you for showing me the light. I'll miss you when I'm gone but atleast we will have our friendship. Goodbye old friend. Goodbye big (Your gender) .
As the crowd departed the reader placed the note into his pocket and said,
"The imperfect end to a history making tragedy."
