Purity Uchiha's log
My past, my future, my present.
Sonnet - Mental Regatta
Oars bite deeper as we head for the line,
Muscles twinge, blisters burn at the ump’s call.
Pivot, stretch, oars pull together in time,
Throughout all this pain it’s hard to stay tall.

One painful mile down, still two more to go.
Is there any place I would rather be?
Muscles contracting, twisted breaths come slow.
No, there is no place I would rather be.

You may think me crazy, I love this race.
Finish comes within sight, rushing through pain.
Cheers rise, horns blare, tired arms lose pace.
But within all that noise, this keeps me sane.

Mind’s wishing for peace throughout all the pain
Within calm, sun lit waters once again

Although things may appear to be set in stone, they are still subject to erosion.

Pull Together to Forge Ahead

I wrote this for english. For those who don't know it is an english sonnet. The Rhyme scheme is ABABCDCDEFEFGG and there are ten syllables per line.

And horns has two beats- same as tired. I hope my english techer reads it like that.
