Thought to have been spawned from hell, General Rousseau is a cold-hearted leader of the Dark resistance, a militia with the intention of bringing an end to the chaos that is the Dark war. Rousseau is known for manipulating people by using their emotions as instruments. He intends to overthrow the kingdoms in the war and claim them for himself, leaving out all other competition.
Rousseau was "created" in Hellfire Forest, a lonely and desolate place. Rousseau spent a part of his life living alone, but found strength from it. By the age of 14, Rousseau was tired of Hellfire Forest, mainly due to it having nothing of interest. He proceeded to move on.
Rousseau had big ideas for himself, he wanted to own land, and lots of it. His first plan of action was to take control of a particularly wealthy city, one with people, markets, and military. That place was Emerald city. Rousseau easily took control of Emerald city within a few hours, an impressive feat to say the least. Rousseau now had wealth at his feet, but he yearned for more. So he designed Emerald city to be the foundations for gem production and trade. His next target was the body of water next to it: The Diamond Ocean.
The Diamond Ocean was a massive body of water, containing many islands. One of which was Snowstorm Island, which now laid in ruin due to NiteFish's "Crusade". Rousseau and his militia from Emerald city quickly laid waste to any opposition from foreign islands. After the islands' defeat, Rousseau built harbors on each, to boost trade amongst his territory. And yet again, Rousseau was ready to continue his campaign.
At the young age of seventeen, Rousseau easily owned almost all of the Diamond Ocean, which was quite the big body of water. But before Rousseau could do anything else, he lacked one thing: Greater Power. Rousseau had heard a rumor that deep in the center of the Ruby Tower lied an incredible that no man or beast could handle. This gave Rousseau an idea, why not take the power for himself? He ventured far out to the Ruby Tower, with no military or people for assistance. Rousseau studied the insides of the tower and found a hidden tunnel, it seemed thousands of years old. Rousseau ventured into it, feeling confident, when suddenly the floor collapsed beneath him. He fell into a seemingly endless chasm, and smashed hard at the bottom. Rousseau could barely move, let alone breathe. He was dazed, and couldn’t think straight, but before him sitting on top of a fountain, was the Ruby Tower’s spirit. The spirit inquired why Rousseau was here, but he hadn’t the strength to say anything. “I’ll make a deal with you”, said the spirit. “House my spirit in your body, and I’ll allow you to live.” Rousseau nodded his head. And in moments the spirit charged towards Rousseau and entered his body. Rousseau went under tremendous pain trying to fight back as if he had made the wrong decision. Suddenly, his skin turned an ugly gray, and he froze. Rousseau entered a subconscious sleep, his pain seemed to float away. The spirit told Rousseau: “I am the Spirit of life, you may call me Ruby. Now, you must rest.” And Rousseau spent the next 25 years in that empty chamber, slowly recovering from the fall that occurred, he could no longer move due to his fall, so he fell into a deep, 25 year long sleep…
25 years later, Rousseau awakened. He felt ten times as powerful than before. Ruby instructed him to leave the tower and test his new found strength out. Rousseau, with his flail in hand, took one heavy swing and completely demolished the sky high tower. Rousseau was shocked, and had decided that the power he was wielding could easily win back his land and the Diamond Ocean. And what better time to gain back land than during a war? From then on, Rousseau and Ruby worked on a strategy…
