when i went to ilocos with the family.
i found a piece of myself in the old houses,
the elaborate architecture and artistry in every corners of the old villa.
felt like the old days when i was playing Bantumi with her.
the moist air under my nose and the vivid atmosphere where we lay.
the trees were flourished in bright green in the spacious area of the villa.
i could imagine the sunlight touch my skin with warmth and care.
it felt like i was back home.
i never really loved the city scapes.
it felt like hell with all the noise and the sharpness of language, anywhere you go.
it so stressful, so troublesome.
but when i reach the province, you can see the kindness of everyone there.
you can relax and be carefree. feel the cool breeze on your face and hair.
But thats only in the province.
and imagine being stuck in the city scape with just a quarter on your purse and no shelter anywhere and no help to plead to. Bound.
Its like a leaf on the floor. trapped with all the filth and dirt of the world.
If you look at it completely, can't you imagine that these things are happening to our lives today?
begging FOR a vacation far away from all the pollution, noise and obnoxious people.
But these things can always be sweeped, like how you sweep dirt of you shoes or cleaning your teeth.
it just takes some effort. Commitment to what you want, or some of those good stuff.
but i guess i'll have to practice what i preach, eh?
