New York Anime Festival '08 has come and gone. Spend saturday there, was fun, was in costume, had afew of pictures taken of me. Being the only Ichigo in bankai with a hollow mask that I ACTUALLY WORE made me stand out abit more than usual. Layout was nice. Wide aisles, alot of shops. TOO much hentai though. One guy was litterally yelling, in the CENTER of the floor, "Welcome to the wall of smut!" ...Not kidding here...
Watched Uncle Yo (THE greatest comidian EVER!!!). His routines just get better and better. Deathnote cosplay jokes, Pokemon jokes....very perveted ones..., Naruto jokes, but let's face it with all these fillers that's all the show is any more, not alot of bleach jokes but that was good.
What I'll remember most was that this year SSBB (Super Smash Brothers: Brawl for those who don't have it) was BIG. I saw more Links, Marths, and Zeldas than anything else. I give credit to the 4 people I saw. The Mr. Game and Watch, the Kirby (seriously, had to be either a little kid, a midget, or some guy on his knees, in a Kirby suit!) and the Link and Marth with "P1" and "P2" over their heads (with those two you KNEW it was Brawl reference).
In the end, didn't stay too long. Was too much perversion, not enough REAL anime/manga. Bought myself 2 souviners though. Alphonse Elric, the chibi hat (Al's armor's head, made cuter, and in hat form) and an Ichigo messenger bag. Bag's too small to carry my school books, but I like it, and it'll come in handy for other Cons.
That's really all I have to say. Been a long time since last post, yeah. But I blame shcool. Byes till later folks!
