Love is just a Lie The clutter of people, Vigorous steps of the passing, I see your face, Within the mass of bodies, Your eyes stand out. Blue like the midnight frost. ---------------- ---------------- My mind gets flustered, My heart skips a beat, I gaze towards you, My eyes catch yours. Those eyes of mystery, I get a glimse of your soul. ------------------- ------------------- That moment of intensity, That sudden thrust of energy, Brought a splash of crimson Across my cheeks. ------------------ ------------------ My body goes numb, Those eyes rip away from mine And my heart slows.. ------------------- -------------------- I realize this moment is over. The pale tone Drips back on my face, I imagine your eyes Blue like the tears in my dreams.
