Counsel Meeting 1
The first of the many Counsel meetings there might be at the RP thread. I will post them here simply because it won't take too much space that way. It's pretty long, so...

It is highly required that you read them, especially if you are somehow involved.

Here we go:

“The Third Counsel meeting this month is now in session.” Jerome stated when all Counsel Members were seated. The advisor gave Caelum and Virtus a knowing glance before nodding to Ventus, silently giving the Lead Economist permission to speak first.

Ventus nodded a bit, shuffling his papers before proceeding. “The Kingdom’s economy has suffered no anomalies, prices are at a regular level and so are salaries for our workers. Our trade is not suffering much and the people seem satisfied on that account.” His tone was business-like, reciting the information he had compiled for the meeting. “The report I filed in before entering contains the particularities.”

Jerome nodded a bit, writing some notes before gesturing Caelum. It was her turn to speak.

The Lead Scientist gave everyone in the room a soft glance before clearing her throat. “Research for a cure to Drake’s… condition… is still in progress, Advances have been made, but we have not reached a safely-testable sample.” She reported this in an apologizing tone, squaring her shoulders a bit. “However, we have made great progress in the ‘decontaminating’ technology requested by Lead Ecologist Vis,” at this she nodded at said person, who nodded back, “to help one of our most recent allies in their crisis. I know you are all aware of what Area 56 is going through… the report I filed in contains a more detailed description of the experimentation status and of our collaboration with the weapon’s department.”

The Advisor gave a small hum, writing some more notes before looking at Vis and nodding a bit.

“All regulations to protect the nature around us are being followed, although we still have a few problems in poaching and pollution at Area 56, as Caelum mentioned earlier. The Justice and Security departments are helping me deal with the matter, as well as our Emissary.” Vis said in a bitter tone, not liking the situation at the new ally’s planet. Giving a thanking glance at Luminarium, Virtus and Umbra, she continued with her report. “All life unable to defend themselves against poachers and speak out against them is being protected thanks to the law, and is currently thriving. All populations are at a normal state. My report should give a more detailed description of the matter.”

Jerome sighed for a moment. Area 56 was being a big problem for the rest of the lands and planets conquered by the Kingdom. He was sure Vis’ tone came from having migraines while dealing with the issues there. Nodding to Virtus, who dealt with the Security Department, he waited for him to speak.

“…” Was his reply before he gave a heated glare to the table. Sighing a bit, he coughed into his hand and started to speak.
“All criminals of yesterday’s incident at Area 54 have been apprehended. The Justice system will deal with them. Our efforts on Area 56 have made us succeed in catching most of the poachers before they strike. I am unpleased to inform you that five percent of the time this isn’t the case. We do, however, still catch them. The investigators are working on finding the root of the problem but we still need time.” One could tell the Battle Master wasn’t pleased. “My report, as usual, contains a much more specific description of the matter.”

Jerome felt sorry for Virtus, he really did. Shaking his head, the warrior sighed and gave Ars permission to speak.

“The poachers that have been judged by our system have all been severely penalized when found guilty, and I can assure you that 100 percent of them were and have been given the appropriate verdict. All other Areas, aside from the incident in Area 54, have not shown any law-breaking problems, so it’s all the Justice System has dealt with. All defendants in recent cases have been given the guilty verdict, justly, of course.” Ars Umbra said with a monotone voice. No one could probably tell if he was feeling normal or stressed.

Jerome finished writing the information of all recent reports with a flourish, giving Luminarium the word.

The Lead Emissary sighed, looking at his notes. “Most treaties are being respected, but we are still working with some issues. These are mostly the contamination and poaching problems present at Area 56, also known as Planet Terra. While mostly co-operative, the land is in shambles, and so is their government system.” Rubbing his temples, he raised some papers and handed them to Jerome. “The King should have a look at these…” he muttered.

The Advisor gave a small whistle, shaking his head. “Ouch…” he muttered and then glanced at Luminarium, silently telling him to continue.

Coughing a bit, the Emissary did so. “I’ve filed my report, which also contains all dealings with the other areas. I should also mention that a lot of the planets we have made alliances with or have ‘conquered’ are eager to lend us their soldiers for battle. I’ll list off out current draft of the amount of soldiers each Area has supplied on our next meeting.”

Jerome grinned when the last of the Counsel started to raise his hand and move it around in a ‘pick me!’ manner, chuckling a bit. “Go on, Proelium, we know you want to.”

Said person grinned and nodded a bit, his eyes gleaming. “We have developed a few weapons that the King might find useful. I placed the blueprints in my report. Also, we are working with the Science and Research Department to develop that weapon that was requested by Rose. The one that healed the enemy but knocked them out? Yeah... the report contains more info on this stuff.” shrugging a bit, the Weapon Specialist gave a slight grin. He never really cared much for formalities, even in meetings.

Jerome was about to declare the meeting to be over but then stopped, having looked at Virtus’s eyes and seen he had something he wanted to add. “What is it, Animus?”

Virtus Animus sighed, looking at Caelum before looking back at Jerome. “I… received news on the attack our troops are currently under in the land King Cerberus is at, a soldier was sensible enough to let me know. Maybe we should send the rest of the troops that are orbiting the place?”

Jerome gave a quick nod. “I will confer it with King Cerberus and his son at once, right after this. To save some time, I will send you the troop’s status report the King gave me some hours ago when we last conferred. Meeting adjourned.”

Before Jerome could leave to conference room, however, Virtus stopped him once again. “Hm..?” The Advisor asked.

“Sir… if you’ll excuse my wife and I if we are absent sometime this week… you know she’s due someday soon.” Virtus muttered to Jerome softly, who gave a nod in reply before hurrying off to communicate with Cerberus.
