HA! GOT YA TO LOOK
Chapter one part one
She sat on her bed, tears running from her hazel eyes to her black bed sheets.
"No," Kaya whispered clutching a note to her chest. Her silver-white hair covered her shoulders and went to her waist, swaying as she shook her head, crying. Kaya's girlish body trebled as she cried. Then anger over came the sorrow and she jumped up.
"He doesn't even know," she screamed in her apartment and went to the kitchen. She wore only an over-sized t-shirt and underwear. She went through the dark apartment to the rather small kitchen. There she grabbed a glass of water and chugged it.
The phone rang, causing her to jump nervously and then answered it. Before she spoke though, he did.
"Kaya, I'm sorry. i can't keep doing this. This..Its troulbe, for both of us. I can't be friends with you anymore. You are way too tempting. Everything you do seems to make me confess somethng delicious about you. I can't do this anymore. I don't know why this is hurting me. We aren't a couple. We never was, but still. I care for you," his voice shaky.
"Why do it then?" She growled he anger coming through quite clearly. "I know you have a girlfriend, and I don't care. I told you I would always be your friend and you want to stop our friendship? Do you.." Kaya stopped as tears of sorrow and anger streamed down her cheeks. She hung up.
The apartment seemed stuffy to her. She needed air. Quickly she dressed into a black jogging suit and running shoes. Once outside, the cool night air surrounded her. It was refreshing. The night sky was starless, but the moon shined brilliantly. She took a dep breath, filling her lungs before she started to jog.
Her thoughts raised as she took a trail behind the apartment complex. Kaya really wanted to stay friends with Leon, but he didn't want to anymore. This upset her. Why would someone do that because of a relationship partner? Her anger had become energy and she was soon lost in thoughts of the woods around her. The sound of insects making their chrips and music.
Some where in the woods, a rustling sound was heard. It was an animal of some sort, but it never really caught Kaya's attention. She was too focused on the sounds, the smell of the damp leaves on the lush trees, and the hard seeing portion of her run in the moon light, that hardly escaped the tree branches. Soon she made her way out and headed to her apartment out of breath. Once inside she showered and slipped back into her t-shirt and went back to bed, clutching his picture to her heart.

Kaya woke up to a sound of someone in the apartment. She sat up and ran a thin hand through her hair, combing it slightly and left her room. She smiled seeing Lilly. Lilly's beautiful long black hair was in a pony tail. Her blue eyes looked at a magizine as she made her way to the couch in her pink mini-skirt and white tank top. She wore white thigh-highs and black tennis shoes.
Kaya walked over and plopped down next to her, causing Lilly to smile at her.
"You look like you've been crying," Lilly said concerned.
"Well that a*****e...Well...I was because my best friend is leaving me because of his girlfriend. I mean we are just friends," anger filled Kaya's voice.
Lilly stroked Kaya's hair as she whispered, "Please don't fret over him. I'm here and that's all that matters, love. Plus, you are older. You have to be tough. Or so you say."
Kaya laughed weakly and cuddled, feeling a bit better. She was still tired though. Kaya relaxed against her sixteen year old love. Kaya was only seventeen, but she moved out a year ago due to events at her house. It was causing her more pain there than with her being away. Kaya sat up and kisses Lilly's red lips.
"Well, how'd you get in? I don't remember you getting a key," Kaya asked smiling.
"It was unlocked. You really have to stop that," Lilly kissed her back.
"Oh... I must have forgot to lock it after my run," she shrugged and got up. "We'll I'm going to change, then I'll take you out for.." She looked at the clock which read noon. "Well lunch." She smiled and went into her room.
She wore a black hoodie over a black band t-shirt, with baggy black jeans and skater shoes. Her hair was pulled her hair into a pony tail as she left the room.
"Ready, my love?" she asked offering her hand.
Lilly took it and both got up and headed out the door. Kaya locked the door after grabbing her keys and her wallet. She left her cell phone not wanting anyone to bother her date. They walked hand in hand down the street and out of the complex and to a resturant a couples blocks down. They sat in the cafe. Both got coffees. Kaya got her usually black coffee and apple pie. While Lilly grabbed an ice coffee and a sandwich. She usually ate something healthy. Kaya was a bit of a whatever kind of person. But neither bothered the other on their choices of food. At least until they got into an agrument. Both ate in silence.
The hustle and bustle of the cafe was a bit annoying as they ate. They stared at each other through most of the meal, not really worried about the other. They were content with just staring into the other's eyes. Kaya smiled a bit finishing her coffee after her pie.
"Well, you have plans?" Kaya asked finally.
"Not really, you?" Lilly replied.
"Work. But that's at three. I am free til then," Kaya smiled.
