A Torn Family...Reunited.
The full moon was directly over the lake, giving the open area a ghostly glow. The lake shimmered like diamonds, and her dark emerald eyes reflected against the water. Hisaki sat by the lake's shore, waiting for her family to come. She looked up at the moon and closed her eyes, feeling its power surge through her bloodstream. Suddenly, a rustling sound came from a bush behind her. She turned around and saw the leaves moving even more. Two figures emerged from behind the trees surrounding the hidden lake. They stood near the trees, leaving a few feet between them and the young Firebender. "Hisaki..." called out the voice of a young man. "It's us, Sis." Stepping out the shadows, Hisaki saw her older brother Kazangan walking toward her. Like hers, his dark emerald eyes shone in the dim moonlight. "I can't believe it's been fourteen years since we were last together," he said to his younger sister, "But we're finally together again, Sis." With tears swelling in her eyes, Hisaki ran into her brother's arms, hugging him and never wanting to let go. "Kazangan..." her soft voice muttered through his clothes. She looked behind him, and saw the other figure still standing in the shadow if the forest. The only thing visible besides her shape were her eyes, glowing light green in the dark night. "Mom...?" Hisaki whispered, and she let her brother free and stood there, staring at the green-gold eyes. A soothing voice emerged from the woman in the dark, replying, "My sweet daughter...Look how much you've grown from when I last saw you. You've really blossomed, sweetheart." Nari now steeped into the moonlight, her long black hair gracefully following her. She walked up to her daughter and wrapped her arms around Hisaki, hugging her daughter for the first time in over ten years. Hisaki returned the hug, and Kazangan joined in. They let the moment last for what seemed forever.
