Kekkai (Barrier) Jutsu: Created by the Hazama clan, Kekkai Jutsu involve the use of a single hand seal and a simple word or phrase and use the caster's own external chakra as it's source. Most Kekkai Jutsu involve a creating a cube shaped barrier which nothing can enter or exit, then collapsing the barrier to destroy whatever is trapped inside. However, more complex techniques have been reported. Some of the most famous Kekkai Jutsu are as follows.
Hoi (Engulf): Designates a target by tracing their chakra.
Joso (Cornerstone): Determines where to create the kekkai by placing a mental image within the user's line of vision.
Ketsu (Bind): Creates and activates the kekkai.
Kai (Release): Dispells the kekkai without injuring the target trapped inside.
Metsu (Destroy): Collapses a kekkai, destroying what is trapped inside.
Kiyomeru (Purify): Trapping themselves and their opponent within the kekkai, the user will collapse the kekkai, creating another kekkai around themselves, destroying all within while keeping themselves alive.
Zekkai (Severing Boundary): A technique that allows the user to either dispel another's kekkai or repel the attack of an enemy. Depending on the strength of the user, it varies in appearance. It is recommended that it not be used excessively.It is created by the domination of negative feelings.
Nenshi (Thread): A technique that creates a chakra thread. It is used for binding, capturing, and torture by squeezing. The nenshi comes out from the palm of the user.
Shuufuku (Restore): Restoration art, repairs an inanimate object inside the kekkai.
Shikigami (Paper Ghost): Paper dolls that obey the commands of kekkashi.
Sakasa (Reverse): Forces a formed kekkai outwards, away from the user with incredible speed and force.

Pet: Madarao, a white demon dog that has served the Hazama family since it's founding. Madarao is around 500 years old, and prior to his existence as a demon, was a wolfdog known as Ginro. He wears a 'collar', made of spirit beads and seals strung together with a nenshi, that seals away his true demon form.
