Just to let you know, I'm a long way into the story, and I'm working on opening all of the entries to the public, but if your my friend, I suggest to go to the first one, by using the archive. Also, some entries will remain Friends Only, so yeah.
Kiko's Journal: The Temple and The Book of Darkness
We had been walking for days. The sun kept getting hotter, and we were lucky to find a small hidden lake. We replenished our stock of supplies and continued on. GRAHHH! I can't walk anymore! I flopped down on the ground. Zen did the same thing and we stared at the clouds for a while. A voice sounded off in my head.

"Awaken, Temple of Miracle!"

A loud crash sounded and the Earth shook. Zen took a quick note at the world and immediately grabbed me, hugged me close and lay flat on the ground (side by side). I blushed. A tree fell and Zen held me tighter, causing me to flinch.
"What's happening?" I yelled, but my voice was drained out by the loud shaking and crashes. The cross was glowing. The was a huge flash of light and the shaking stopped. We laid there for more moments, flat on the ground. Zen slowly stood up. I soon followed, knowing the shaking had stopped for good. There was a temple right in front of us. I gasped and walked up to it. Zen just stood there. I gently placed my hand on one of the large stone pillars. I looked around and walked inside. There was an odd hole in the roof, as if something had fallen inside. Zen was slowly trailing behind me, a little more hesitant at going inside. At the far back of the temple, past rooms were I guessed the priests used to sleep in, was an alter. On the two edges were candles, and a goblet was next to each. In the direct center was a book with a cross, but where the two bars met was a star, and another star was on top, slightly twisted so you could see all the spikes. Right next to it to the right was a book with a faded red marked hanging about 10 inches out of it. At the bottom of the marker was a golden clasp with a few tied together strings hanging out of a small hole in the clasp. The cover of the book was odd. It too had the strange cross with a double star, but the book looked like it had a diagonal line going through the center. On the left half it was black, and there was a red swirl in the center of the blackness. On the other side it was white and in it's center was a small keyhole made of silver. The necklace Zen had given me before the journey glowed a little. I gently picked up the book and hugged it up against my chest. Zen was a little behind me, and he noticed me picking up the book.
"Is that-- Ah, Kiko!" I collapsed on the ground, yet I felt calm and relaxed. I closed my eyes, yet they remained open. Just before doing so, I saw my world turn silver.
