Dusty Journal Sitting on a Shelf Hmm... perhaps I will dust off this journal and put it to some practical use. *grabs a pencil*

All good things...
Ahh. I can't believe it. Another one has slipped out of my grasp. Like turning an hourglass. I shall miss watching the Olympics at 12 am, chatting with complete strangers in this online community, the Rejected Olympics, running my mini shop in the Requests and Commissions forum, etcetera. I shall miss Star Trek: The Experience even more than all those though. But it is as Q put it in the final episode of Star Trek TNG, "All good things must come to an end." I truly ought to watch that episode once more before school starts on the Wednesday of next week. Though recently, I haven't been watching much Star Trek. After finishing off DS9 in late June, I continued my watching every episode of every scifi in sequential order I can get my hands on in sequential order by spending July and August watching seasons 1 and 2 of Babylon 5. I shall start watching season 3 shortly.
I really ought to finish off my homework too. Having completed my reading assignment, all that is left for me to do is write a three chunk paragraph on a theme present in Song of Solomon. I'll probably do it on Sunday, as is traditional for me.
Monday there should be a Japanime club meeting at the presidents house and being an officer now, I should try my best to attend it. Speaking of clubs, I also have to get the Science Fiction club started. Founding a club is no easy task but I'm determined to do it. Especially after the news of Star Trek: The Experience closing on September 1st. The day before my birthday no less. May I now take this opportunity to thank Cedar Fair and the Hilton for giving me such a wonderful birthday present as closing down what I would call "Heaven on Earth."
Computer, end sarcasm.
Anyways... I must start thinking about college, graduation requirements, SATs, AP tests, etcetera. Oh how I abhor myself at this age. I must rely heavily on Star Trek and other such inspiring shows to keep me sane. Unfortunately, I seem to have already lost a bit of my sanity the last time I went to STTE. It was of course during the convention. The big Las Vegas convention. My parents and I spent three days at the convention: Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday. Thursday was our last meal there. We all shared our last plate of Flaming Ribs of Targ and a Risan Pleasure Sundae at Quarks. I would say that it was the best dinner I've ever had. It was impossible to get in during the weekend. It seems that the combination of the closure of The Experience and the yearly coming of the convention brought a large pilgrimage of Trekkers and Trekkies to Quarks for a Warp Core Breach and some Klingon drinking songs. Sunday I frantically snapped up photos and video of every bit of STTE I could. In addition to the photos I acquired last year I believe I have documented quite a bit of that place. Still, it pains me to see it go. I shant ever forget it. When I glanced at it for the last time I had to bite my lip to keep my tears from falling. There is really no place on Earth like it and there shall never be anything that can truly replace it. I highly recommend that you see it if you can, while you still can.
Hmm. Let me stitch my heart back up.
Okay. It's past midnight so I suppose I ought to call it quits.
Happy end of summer, everyone.
Adieu.
