my escape
winding roads lead me to everything and nothing
trees hide me from the world around me
the rain saves me from the horrific tales of existence
my very tales of life disappear as I lose myself to everything around me
the wind whispers away my fears as we travel onward
the music in the background helps me to forget who I am and start over
worries, fear, and trouble gone from my world for what will seem like forever
my never ending trip saves me from myself
the world becomes new to my eyes under the soft gray blanket of rain
the hatred hiden from my vision the beauty florishes
and the world stands still for a moment
this new world is my secret to keep and my love to reach
when my life seems to take a turn for the worst I wish to see my world one last
time
