Her Cousin...
As Hisaki started to follow the map Kazan had left behind, she saw a person in the distance, stumbling along the road. "Kazan...?" she whispered, running up to the mysterious person. It was her cousin. He fell to the ground, with several arrows in his back. "I..got away..." he said to her in a weak voice. She immediately started pulling the arrows out of the young man's back, healing each wound left by them. "Are you free from his control?" Hisaki asked him. He struggled to speak. "For now," he managed to reply, "But he'll be back. It's only a matter of time..." She softly smiled at Kazan. "You know...I can try and free you." Hisaki lifted her hand, and in her palm, a glowing white fire started to burn. He smiled back and said to her, "You learned it." She nodded and replied, "Yes, I did, when I was your age. It can heal just about anything...but for some reason, not my scars..." Kazan started to cough and spit out some of his blood. "s**t, I'm losing blood." He looked into her eyes, and she pressed her hands on his wounds, starting to heal him. "It's going to burn a little," she said to him. He closed his eyes and winced from the pain, then opened them and looked at her. "Hisaki," his weak voice started to say, "I have to tell you something." "What is it?" she asked him. Kazan took a deep breath and said to his cousin, "Before I die...You need to know where his base is. It's on the Crescent Island, where the Fire Sages pray." His hand fell to the ground. "Don't worry...Death isn't the end..." Hisaki's expression changed to shock. "No...Kazan, don't die!" The fire in her hands started to take on a ghostly glow, and she pressed harder on his wounds. "Please..." she whispered, as a single tear streamed down her cheek. Kazan picked up his hand and placed it over Hisaki's. "It's alright..." he weakly said to her. "You can let me go. I miss my mother and father. As he closed his eyes again, he reminded her of the Crescent Island. "You're not leaving me, Kazan..." she muttered, picking up his body and carrying him to a lake under the moonlight. Placing Kazan in the water, Hisaki looked up at the full moon and remembered her Waterbender traits. Under the full moon, a Waterbender was at their most powerful level...which meant her healing abilities could bring someone back to life. She summoned fire in her hands once more...but this time, she could both see and feel her new power. The fire now had the glow of the moon itself. Hisaki placed her hands on Kazan, and as she healed him, she could hear a beautiful voice- a song of healing. She realized the voice was her own. The moon seemed to be controlling her, making her sing that song of healing, giving her the voice of a Psiren. As Hisaki healed her cousin, she could see Kazan's eyes slowly flickering open...
