Have you ever felt like time was moving so slow,
But so fast at the same time?
It seems like the day will never be over,
But you don't know what tomorrow holds.
You don't know what to do,
So you just sit there realizing time is watching you,
Mocking you, laughing, torturing you.
As it goes tick, tock, tick, tock in your ears,
You almost see Chronos himself.
Strolling the skinny hand with his index finger ever so slowly,
So slowly.
You close your eyes and it's hours past,
Yet still it seems to have taken forever.
You just experienced 3 hours in a matter of seconds,
Albeit time flew past you, it seemed so long, so very long.
Nothing is going on in your brain,
But it feels as if you've been thinking synthetic thoughts all day.
Stress from nothing.
You close your eyes and feel the miasma of sleep creep up on you,
Only to be awoken by your own restless mind thinking about nothing inparticular.
I just want to sleep, but I can't close my eyes.
I'll take a dash of your powder Mr. Sandman,
Just a dash, Just a dash.
Take me away to Dreamland, where I haven't visited in ages.
I miss it's feel.
Oh, how I wish I could just dream.
Take me away,
And thou shalt never return.
