Maybe you could try this out. Have you ever had regrets that are hardly important or relevant to your continued existence? Do you wish you could do more? Do you avoid something you know is cool? Or abandoning something that has never let you down? These are the the things I feel guilty about.....just a little.

1. DS, short for dust. I have not touched my DS in at least two months, and an eternity before that trip. I mean, I have absolutely no motivation to play a handheld game over a console game. I mean, heck, the DS seems to work better in online play than the Wii. I have Animal Crossing, FF XII: RW, and all 3 Phoenix Wright games just sitting there and....I don't know why I avoid playing them, but I don't have a reason to turn my DS on again over the 360.

2. Competition. I never got sucked into Bleach or Inuyasha. I mean, when I saw them, they were pretty good, but I'm just not anxious to see any more episodes. Maybe it's because of the anime adjacent to them on Adult Swim's schedule. There was Fullmetal Alchemist just before Inuyasha, and when you put them side-by-side FMA was so awesome it sucked out any potential desire to see anything coming out immediately after it. Same thing with Bleach. Why would I want to see Ichigo slice and dice Hallows when I could see Light Yagami do mental combat with L? Yeah, in the same way with FMA and Inuyasha, Death Note's awesomeness has destroyed any desire to see Bleach. While I'm at it, I need to check out Fate/Stay Night. No competion or excuses on this one. It has a lot of cool things about it. Mega-fights involving an armored girl with a sword? Why doesn't Best Buy carry the DVDs anymore?!?!

3. Exclusive Hits means ONLY Hits. I have a seething hatred for the PS3. Or, to be more accurate, I smile like a kid meeting a clown whenever its sales suffer or they come out with nothing but crap. It only makes me hate them more when they come out with something good. I want to play Metal Gear Solid 4. I want to play Heavenly Sword. And maybe Resistance and Uncharted. But I do NOT want to pay 400+ bucks to only play about 5 games I can't get on the 360. And don't give me the graphics and the Bluray stuff, I don't give a rat's....I'm fine with the standard all the PS3 exclusively has is graphics and blessed the Xbox 360 with many RPGs, including the formerly PS3-only Final Fantasy XIII. I'm crossing my fingers for Kingdom Hearts III....

4. So little time.... Halo 3. Super Smash Bros. Brawl. Assassin's Creed. Lost Odyssey. Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. Soul Calibur IV. Super Mario Galaxy. Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic. Final Fantasy XII: Revenant Wings. Phoenix Wright: Trials and Tribulations. Radiata Stories. Disgaea: Hour of Darkness. Heck, even Star Ocean: Till the End of Time, which I've had for over 2 years. I haven't beaten any of them, and half of them I've barely even started. I'm trying not to end up like my Gamestop managers with Gamers ADD, but I want to finish all of them. I even want to play the .hack games a second run through. Infection all the way to Redemption. Did I name all of the games I want to finish? No, there's one more....

5. Standing tall, standing out. I've bought it. I have it. But I've never touched it. But I don't want to hook up the PS2 to play it. And the more I hear about it, the more it's mentioned everywhere cult fans exist, the worse I feel about not playing it. There's no telling when I'll actually get to play it. It looks god-awesome. I really REALLY need to whip out Shadow of the Collossus.
