She had developed large sores from wounds given to her by her mate (who incidentally died last week by getting lodged behind the filter while chasing her).
So, the only humane thing to do was to end her life is an as painless way possible.
Now I just need to figure out what to get in their place. I need something that goes with Congo Tetras and Danios.... Maybe a dwarf cichlid of some sort, perhaps a pair of rams or bolivian rams. Or perhaps some Pelvicachromis.
