Roommates, yay.
Classes, yay.
Calling the cable company, yay.
Lack of internet, boo.

The suite's cool. It's a handicapped suite, so we have a bit more space in the kitchen in which to move, but not as many cabinets. The bathroom is huge, no tub, just an open shower. My roommates cool, she reminds me so much of Mike, Dave's roommate, it's crazy. Mindy and Katie are awesomely funny. And Julianne, the RA for our floor and sometime suitemate is always out and about, but when she's home she's a character. I have a feeling it's going to be a good year.

News wise I'm pretty much cut off from the world. Our suite lacks intraweb at the moment. We keep calling the tech guys, but they don't seem to believe us. They said they'd be down to check it out, finally, but that was 3-4 days ago. They were a no show. We haven't got cable yet, but it's coming, just need to call Bob the cable guy. Yeah, Bob, no joke.

Clases are okay, the prof's seem nice. Dr. Guruge's awesome, though I have trouble understanding him sometimes. Accent and all that, he's from Shrilanka. surprised

Had to buy 5 books for ONE class, though. That was a nightmare. @_@

So, yeah. Good stuff. OH!

Some random guy walked into our suite the other day, thinking it was the parking structure, WTF? He even asked if it was a girls dorm, as if the 2 girls lounging about in the living room wasn't enough of a clue. I think he was high, Lauren (my roommie) thinks he was drunk. Bloodshot eyes and red, RED cheeks. Yeah. He said he was lost, asked where the "stacked parking" was. When I directed him to the parking structure 20 feet away he said the wasn't it, so I sent him off trecking to the other side of the campus, the only other parking structure on campus. Though, looking back he might have meant the double parking valet guys, but oh well so sad. Shouldn't have walked randomly into strange girls dorms then, huh?

Good story.

EDIT: So dinner out with Derek and his friends. Not a church thing like I originally thought, but a work thing. About 13-15 people hanging out and celebrating one year at Blizzard. Or, rather, SURVIVING one year at Blizzard.
