Open-ended questions are a bore. With an infinite number of words to choose from, I can create a cloak around my soul. An answer I can give you, but insight? Never.
Not like this.
Instead, give me two choices-
"Care to play a game of charades?"
"Do you like the opera?"
"Will you dance with me beneath the stars?"
There is no shroud to crouch behind, no words to shield me. I must bare all with clarity- affirmative or negative; all is exposed.
If you care for me at all, you will rip away my useless words, and let the real me show- one yes at a time.
