" A couple or more. Depends on what you give back." Sensui nodded. "Why, why did you have to kill my mother? She was willing enough to heal your wounds with her life," Grimu asked. Sensui was going to respond, however I put my hand up to stop him. "Grimu, from what you told me at the hotel I've realized that it wouldn't have mattered if your mother got killed by Sensui's sword or the jutsu," I paused, "Am I right. I looked over at Sensui to see if I was. He nodded.
"What's with the sword?" I asked him. He thought about it having his head down then picked it back up looking at me, "Oh yah you're the one that rejected the sword. I got the sword from a travler. He said that it could give me amazing powers and it did, as you and your team saw. One day I took the sword to my towns priest because my daughter kept on saying that she kept on getting weird vibe from it. He told me that an evil spirt was living in it. The spirt wasn't a demon but a human spirt." "Like a persons bones or ashes?" " Yah, he said something like that. The priest also said that the spirt was killed by his wife. I'll tell you how. He had a daughter that wanted to get married to a market boy. He wouldn't allow it and said no and she accepted it but during one night she snuck out of the house and had a private marrage. Just her, the market boy, and the pastor. But Her father knew what was going on and once she got back home he did something to her. Do you know what he did to her? He cut her up, buried the organs, bones, head, arms, legs, and told his wife that he bought some meat for tonights dinner. And she ate it, and when she was washing dishes he asked her 'How was Kimmy love? Wasn't she delisous?' He was trying to show them that neither of them could control their own lives, only he could." Sensui sighed oblivously not liking the story. As he did so I looked over at Grimu. His fists were relaxing slightly, his face and body less tense. Sensui didn't continue, so that was all the information he had on that topic.
Lifting my left leg over my right, I layed it there. "I noticed that when the sword was out of reach from you, your....um features changed. Why is that?" " Still at the priest place he told me to never use the sword for any means necessary. Either the sword can make you powerful forever and not take control of you or it can take control and you live or it takes control and you die because your body can not handle it" "So I'm guessing it made you powerful" "Yes. It first started when I was looking out my bed room window and there was a scream from down stairs. My wife can be clumsy sometimes so I thought she had dropped a plate or something (yah right). But then I heard my daughter scream as my wife yelled out, 'Stay away from us!' . I got up quickly running over to the door, but something stopped me; I had the sword laying on my desk. I knew I was told not to use it but I had to. Once I did, I felt overwhelmed by the power coming from it. I heard another scream and rushed through the hall and down the stairs. 'You will serve me til you die. Now kill the intruder!'
" I heard the sword say that and obeyed to it. When I got to the bottom of the steps, the thief was walking over to my wife and daughter. Then it felt as though the sword was pulling me over to him to end his life. I went with it, raising the sword above my head and brought it down onto the intruders skull spiting it in two. My wife and child were scared of what I did at first then relaxed seeing that I ended the mans life. So was I until the sword wanted me to do something that made my stomach flip." Sensui paused again, closing his eyes. While he was doing that I looked over at Grimu again. His face was turned, looking at Sensui. "He foreced me to drain the blood from the man to restore his power." " But he only gave you power to use.... Unless he took control of some parts of your body so you wouldn't die." "I guess." "But did you do it?" the question came from Grimu. I surprised at the sudden change of heart but I didn't pay much attention to it. Sensui nodded. "Yes. It was like I wasn't myself anymore. I could feel my wife and child tensing as they saw me act like a savage. When I pulled back the man I knew as my intruder was now writhing away like a dead flower. From behind I heard foot steps going into the kitchen then back into the living room. As I turned around my wife held a knife infront of her. I knew what she was trying to do and I knew how hard it was for her. Before she could say anything the sword forced my hand so it crossed over their necks, blookd spilling out. Just looking at the blood made me want more and I got it from them. After I finished them off, the sword released it's power over me." Sensui sighed leaning on the wall. "Is that all?" Grimu was now fully interested in the subject. "Yup. That's how all the killings started and now they're over," Sensui closed his eyes having a relief but soon his eyes reopened, " The sword? Where is it?" I got up from my chair stretching, "It's being melted as we speak and when it's already done the black smith will turn it into an orb, polish it and send it to the priest." "So... you knew all about him all along then?" "No, this is what I've decicde right now."
