Death is peaceful. I don't cry at death.
Why am I talking about death? Well, I put my cat to sleep today. He's 17 and we've had him since he was 9 months. He's a year younger then me. *Sniff*
We knew he had to go sometime, we've had him a year younger then we were suppose to. Last year he got really sick, loosing control over his bladder. We were going to put him to sleep before my sister started school, didn't work that way. He grew fine for a week, then went bad again. Every day this week he had an accident (at least one) in the bathrooms (least he goes to the bathroom, right? lol).
So this week we were going to do it. We tried to on Tuesday but as soon as my sister found out she started crying. So then today, Friday, my mom and I took him up to the vet. My mom left to go pick up my sister from school, lucky by then he already had a shot to get him to relax. It was funny, when the vet was going to give him the shot Kiki (the cat) turned his head, hissed at the vet and almost bit him. lol. So Kiki got the shot to relax, my mom left so I was there, watching him slowly relax. Then the vet came in, shaved a part of his front leg, put a tuniquet around his arm, inserted the needle, took off the tuniquet and gave him the shot. Before the shot was halfway through Kiki took his last breath, and I saw it. I was the last person he saw. When he left I was still petting him. What I thought was weird is that his eyes wouldn't close all the way. I was looking at his eyes, and I kissed him. I kissed a dead cat on the head.
I never cried, just got tears in my eyes even before the last shot. My eyes teared up when I looked up at the ceiling, when I looked down at the cat I was fine. So he got the shot, and left peacefully. I wrapped him up in a sheet (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles lol) and put him in the plastic bag, waiting for my mom to get back.
Later then we buried him. My sister, mom and dad were all tearing up, I was cracking jokes. That's how I am. I crack jokes. I'm like my mother in that aspect. lol.
So that's all that happened. Pay respects for Kiki RC. RC is for Rude Cat. That was
