Weapon of Choice: Andromeda equips a modern version of the Katar (blades that strap to the wrist; used more for punching than slashing) on either wrist: it is called the Xiphoid*. She also keeps two Jericho 941 handguns.
*A Xiphoid, also known as a Retractable Forearm Dagger, is a class of bladed weapons with a dagger like blade that is retractable into a forearm worn wristband or bracer sheath. Designed for swift and quick surprise attacks. It is notable for being evolved from the Katar and similarities to the Pata (weapon), short punching swords,which results in the blade sitting above the user's knuckles.
In Andromeda's case this weapon is spring-loaded: when her palm is open, the blade is retracted. When she balls her hand into a fist, it extends four inches past her knuckles.
