AMAZING PURCHASE NUMBER ONE:
For the last few months I have been trying to find the movie 'Falling Down', and yesterday I found it on sale for $8 at Borders. Huzzah! For those who don't know, this movie is about a middle aged guy who's sitting in a traffic jam and suddenly goes berzerk and starts walking through the city killing people in increasingly violent ways. Heartwarming, no?
AMAZING PURCHASE NUMBER TWO:
While I was at Borders looking for the movie I saw they had a stand of CDs that were on sale for five bucks each. Most of them were Mariah Carey, so I'm not surprised no one would buy them for more than five dollars. However, someone who worked there made a horrible mistake and put a Billy Joel CD in the bin. I was about to go tell the manager about this travesty and demand it be rectified when I realized it was a CD I didn't have, 'Storm Front'. I proceeded to pay five bucks for it and run screaming to the car.
In other news, I'm sure you're all as excited as I am because tomorrow is Take Your Houseplant For A Walk Day! So far my cactus, Salty Jim, is a bit opposed to wearing a leash but I'm sure I'll have him trained by tomorrow.
